Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds.

Catechism of the Catholic Church

Confirmation is administered in St. Luke Parish in the first half of the year (usually in spring). Most of the candidates for Confirmation are in 7th grade in school. Adults of the parish may also be confirmed at the parish celebration. Any adult who wishes to be confirmed should contact the rectory office, 215-572-0128.

Our last celebration of the Rite of Confirmation was November 20, 2017 when eighty-four parishioners were confirmed by Bishop Michael J. Fitzgerald.
