Volunteer Opportunities

Need for Communion Ministers and Pastoral Care Visitors at Holy Redeemer.
Many people choose Holy Redeemer Health System because of the faith-based environment and most especially that they will have access to the Sacraments. So many take comfort in their opportunity to receive Holy Communion every day. This is only possible because of the dedication of  volunteer Ministers of Communion.
They are in need of such Ministers at this time in all of their facilities: Holy Redeemer Hospital, Holy Redeemer St. Joseph Manor, and Holy Redeemer Lafayette. Pastoral Care visitors are also needed. Please consider volunteering for these very important ministries at Holy Redeemer. They will offer training if you are new to this ministry. Contact the Pastoral Care Office at 215-938-3952 for more information without any obligation.

Saint Joseph Villa, in Flourtown, has been providing care for Sisters of Saint Joseph since 1968, and since the 80’s, for lay persons, clergy, and other religious community members, when possible.  Life at the Villa is more than simply having ones’ needs met. It is about enjoying life, living each day to the fullest, growing stronger in body, mind and spirit.
We desire to engage our residents in creative activities that give them purpose and meaning.
