This is a scripture-based prayerful group interested in increasing parish awareness of and in deepening parish work for peace and justice. Projects have Haiti Information Days (for our Sister Parish); Gift of our Gifts days; movie series. This group meets in the daytime. A focus of this group has been our sister parish in Haiti, Notre Dame de-la Presentation in Los Palis, in the diocese of Hinche.

The program is “I Just Decided to Do Something!” Businessman and development worker Aldo Magazzeni will discuss how digging wells and building schools in developing countries is a step on the road to peace.

Carol Miller of the Doylestown chapter of The Nonviolent PeaceForce will explain how volunteers can be trained in the art of peace and then sent to world hotspots to cool things down. You may even be inspired to become a member.

Sister Mary Elizabeth Clark, SSJ, will tie our Catholic faith into the peace movement in a talk entitled “Nonviolence of Jesus and Discipleship: Fruit of Prayer, Call to Action.”
Sister is a daughter of the parish. She is currently the Director of the
